A Canadian-based pharmaceutical was recently granted approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Agency to market a gel testosterone supplement in the U.S., an article by Fierce Drug Delivery stated on June 3.
According to reports, Trimel Pharmaceuticals was given permission on May 28 to market Natesto, a testosterone supplement for older men administered through nasal delivery. The firm’s CEO Tom Rossi stated that aside from its practicality, nasal administration of testosterone supplement prevents the risk of possible contact of the supplement with children and women. Natesto’s packaging includes a warning of possible edema for men, with or without history of heart problems.
Sadly, several studies have already confirmed that use of testosterone supplements in older men may result in heart attack risk and stroke. If you think you are suffering heart problems from using the potentially dangerous supplements, the lawyers of Williams Hart may represent you.
