Testosterone Injury Claims Move to Multidistrict Litigation

In January, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it had begun an investigation of a possible link between the use of testosterone replacement therapies and a range of serious health concerns, including heart attack and stroke. Soon afterwards, dozens of lawsuits were filed against the manufacturers of popular low testosterone treatments, including Androgel, Androderm, and others.
In order to streamline the litigation process, these suits have now been brought together as a multidistrict litigation in the Northern District of Illinois, which is where the majority of the initial claims originated. This will allow for a quicker process in helping those who may have been badly injured or who may have lost a loved one as a result of testosterone supplement use.
