Bryan — Ambulance Involved in Rollover Crash on Texas State Highway 6

Posted on Monday, December 16th, 2019 at 8:38 pm by Williams Hart

At approximately 4 a.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2019, an ambulance was involved in a rollover accident that occurred in Bryan, Texas.

According to initial reports, the Allegiance Ambulance was traveling northbound on the feeder road of Texas State Highway 6 when all of a sudden, the driver lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the ambulance rolled over into the parking lot of the store at the southeast corner of the Texas State Highway 21 and Texas State Highway 6 intersection.

No patients were on board at the time of the crash, and the driver was not seriously injured.

The crash still remains under investigation.

It is great to hear that no one was seriously injured in this accident. Unfortunately, there are countless other victims who are not as lucky. Car accidents like this are awfully common nowadays. In statistics provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), car accidents occur almost every minute of every day, and every 16 minutes, someone dies from a car accident. This can be translated to be about 6 million car accidents every year and about 37,000 people dying from them.

A particular kind of vehicular accident that is considered to be one of the deadliest is a rollover. A 2010 statistics showed that rollovers comprised only 2.1% of nearly 9.1 million vehicular accidents, but they did account for well over 35% of all deaths. According to numerous studies, about 69% of the people who died from rollovers were not wearing any seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Vehicular accidents, especially those involving rollovers, are quite difficult for the victims and their respective families. Thankfully, there are lawyers that specialize in car accidents/rollover accidents, so if you are a victim of this kind of accident, or you know someone who is, or you lost a loved one because of this, then please never hesitate to ask for help from these lawyers. They will help you in protecting your rights and in getting you the justice that you deserve.

Bryan — 2 People Killed, Another Injured in 18-Wheeler Collision on Texas State Highway 21

Posted on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 at 8:11 pm by Williams Hart

At around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2019, two people were killed and another was critically injured in an 18-wheeler collision that occurred in Bryan, Texas.

According to initial reports, William Bacak, 81, was driving a four-door vehicle along Texas State Highway 21 when at the intersection of Texas OSR, he failed to yield the right of way. As a result, his vehicle was struck by an 18-wheeler.

Bacak and his wife, 80-year-old Irene Bacak, were pronounced dead at the scene. A third occupant in the vehicle was taken to CHI St. Joseph Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.

The crash still remains under investigation.

It is unfortunate to hear of what happened to the victims in this accident. Alas, they are not the only ones who are affected by a vehicular accident. Vehicular accidents like this are awfully common nowadays. In statistics provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), car accidents occur almost every minute of every day, and every 16 minutes, someone dies from a car accident. This can be translated to be about 6 million car accidents every year and about 37,000 people dying from them.

Additionally, an accident involving a tractor-trailer is a kind of vehicular accident, and it is a deadly one just because of the fact that a tractor-trailer is one of the largest and most dangerous vehicles in the world. It is estimated that there are more than 2 million tractor-trailers roaming in the United States, and each year, they get involved in about 500,000 accidents. And since the size of a tractor-trailer is enormous, the results of this kind of accident are catastrophic, from a severe injury to death.

Vehicular accidents, especially those involving trucks, are quite difficult for the victims and their respective families. Thankfully, there are lawyers that specialize in truck accidents, so if you are a victim of this kind of accident, or you know someone who is, or you lost a loved one because of this, then please never hesitate to ask for help from these lawyers. They will help you in protecting your rights and in getting you the justice that you deserve.

Posted on Sunday, March 31st, 2019 at 9:44 pm by Williams Hart

Four young people were killed in a rear-end collision that happened in Bastrop, Texas at around 9 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported that Peyton Irwin, 19, Tiffany Williams, 17, Michael Williams (whose age is not revealed), and an unidentified 12-year-old girl were traveling to San Antonio in a 2019 Toyota Corolla driven by Pamela Williams, 53, to watch a drill team competition. Williams was driving westbound on Texas State Highway 21 in Bastrop, and she was stopped on the highway, waiting to turn left onto Quarter Horse Loop when their vehicle was rear-ended by a 2004 Ford F-150.

All the young passengers were pronounced dead at the scene while Pamela Williams was rushed to a hospital where she is reported to be in a coma right now.

The driver of the Ford F-150, 18-year-old Juan Hernandez, and a passenger with him, 18-year-old Jacqueline Gaspar, were not injured in this accident.

The crash still remains under investigation.

It is unfortunate to hear of what happened to the victims in this accident. Alas, they are not the only ones whose lives are taken away by a car accident. Car accidents are a problem in this day and age, and yet, they still continue to happen on a regular basis. In a statistics provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), car accidents occur almost every minute of every day, and for every 16 minutes, someone dies from a car accident. This can be translated to be about 6 million car accidents every year and about 37,000 people dying from them.

A particular kind of vehicular accident that is fairly common in the United States is a rear-end collision. It has been reported that there are about 1.7 million rear-end collisions in the U.S. every year, and from that number, roughly 1,700 people die while another 500,000 are injured. The National Transportation Safety Bureau (NTSB) also notes that 87% of rear-end collisions happened simply because the driver was not paying attention to the road.

At around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, a vehicular accident occurred in Burleson County where a car was pinned underneath an 18-wheeler.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the crash that involved an 18-wheeler and a car happened at the intersection of Texas State Highway 21 and FM 50. Despite the fact that the accident seemed devastating, only minor injuries were reported.

It is great to hear that no one was seriously injured in this accident. Unfortunately, there are countless other victims who are not as lucky. Wixon Valley — Distracted Driver Crashes into Bryan ISD Bus

Posted on Monday, February 18th, 2019 at 6:39 am by Williams Hart

At around 4 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019, a car crashed into the back of a Bryan ISD school bus in east Brazos County.

According to initial reports, the driver of the pickup was on his phone, distracted, while he was driving along Texas State Highway 21, between Wixon Valley and Kurten. Because of this, he was not paying attention to the road, thus causing him to rear-end a Bryan ISD school bus that was stopped and was unloading elementary students.

The students inside the bus were uninjured, and the driver of the pickup was unharmed as well.

Investigation is still underway for this particular accident.

It is great to hear that no one was seriously injured in this accident. However, there are countless other victims who are not as lucky. Car accidents like this are awfully common nowadays. In a statistics provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), car accidents occur almost every minute of every day, and for every 16 minutes, someone dies from a car accident. The National Transportation Safety Bureau (NTSB) also notes that 87% of rear-end collisions happened simply because the driver was not paying attention to the road.

Distracted while driving is actually considered to be one of the most common causes of car accidents. The other two popular causes are DUI (driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol) and speeding.
