A pilot sustained injuries after a small plane crashed in Harris County, Texas on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
According to initial reports, the small plane suddenly lost power during takeoff and crashed north of 10800 Grand Parkway. The pilot was the only person in the plane and walked away from the crash without major injuries after a hard crash in an open field.
The scene is active and investigation into the crash is ongoing.
It is great to hear that the pilot was not seriously injured in this accident. Unfortunately, there are countless other victims who are not as lucky. Aviation accidents are not as common as the other kinds of vehicular accidents, but it should be noted that though that is the case, airplane and helicopter crashes are significantly a lot more dangerous and devastating when they do happen. This is simply because of the extreme heights and speeds that are involved with them. Serious physical injuries and emotional and psychological damage are the expected outcomes of an aviation accident.
Some of the common causes of aviation accidents are air traffic controller error, negligence by the airline, airplane or helicopter pilot error, pilot intoxication, and helicopter or airplane defects and malfunction.
Aside from the devastating nature of aviation accidents, cases involving them are substantially complex, and as a result, a trusted attorney is needed to help the victim and their family. So, if you are a victim of an aviation accident, or you know someone who is, or you lost a loved one because of this, then please never hesitate to ask for help. Aviation accident lawyers are more than willing to help you in protecting your rights and in getting you the justice that you deserve.
