A study titled the “Increased Risk of Non-Fatal Myocardial Infarction Following Testosterone Therapy Prescription in Men” was published on January 29, 2014 and looked into the risk men under and over the age of 65 have of suffering from a myocardial infarction, most commonly known as a heart attack.
According to the results of the study, men who were 65 or older have double the chance of experiencing a non-fatal heart attack after using the testosterone supplements for 90 days. Additionally, men who were 65 or younger and had a history of heart disease were at a 2-3 times greater risk of suffering from a non-fatal heart attack after going through testosterone therapy for 90 days.
